Editorial take
RoboForex is a Belize-incorporated broker (since 2009) under IFSC oversight — our yellow-tier classification, sitting between truly offshore and tier-1 EU/UK regulators. Pricing is Pro/ECN style: 0.2 pip plus $4/lot ≈ $6 all-in, which is one of the cheapest setups in the regulated retail segment. Platforms include MT4, MT5 and R StocksTrader (proprietary equity-CFD platform).
IFSC Belize sits below FCA, ASIC and CySEC for consumer recourse — there is no equivalent compensation scheme. The aggressive pricing is real but is paired with weaker fallback if the broker fails. Most stable peers (FxPro, Tickmill) offer similar all-in cost under tier-1 regulators. RoboForex's 1:2000 leverage on some accounts is not available on its EU-passport entity — check which entity onboards you.
RoboForex offers six account types: Pro-Cent (cent-denominated), Pro-Standard (1.3 pip typical), Pro-ECN (raw + $20/lot commission — the highest in our list, but with very tight raw spread), Prime, R StocksTrader (proprietary stocks platform with 12,000+ tickers), and CopyFX (social trading). Retail onboards through RoboForex Ltd (Belize FSC, since 2020 after the IFSC name change) — no tier-1 licence in the group. Strong for traders wanting wide instrument coverage and active-trader rebates; weaker on regulatory protection compared with FCA/ASIC peers.

Who this fits
Fits if
- ✓You're in a non-restricted, non-EU-focused jurisdiction and want ECN-style $6/lot pricing at a $10 entry minimum
- ✓You scalp or trade at volume — ECN account delivers among the cheapest commission tiers in our list
- ✓You value the Free Funds Withdrawal promo (1st and 3rd e-wallet withdrawals of each month processed fee-free)
- ✓You want offshore ultra-high leverage (up to 1:2000) on the separate Pro account tier
- ✓You like a daily cashback scheme layered on trading activity
Avoid if
- ✕You live in the US, Canada, Japan, Australia, Brazil, Russia/Ukraine/Belarus, Turkey, Indonesia, or OFAC-sanctioned — 18 restricted
- ✕You need tier-1 regulator cover — IFSC (Belize) only, no FCA / ASIC / CySEC, no FSCS-equivalent compensation
- ✕You confuse the account tiers — Pro (spread-only, 1:2000) and ECN ($4 commission, 1:500) differ materially in fee composition and leverage
- ✕You're attracted primarily by cashback marketing — realised cashback rarely matches headline numbers against actual trading cost
